Windows 95 & 98 System Settings

Follow these procedures to permanently change the dialup number

If you are having trouble connecting to SoftNet, please read the information below to double check your settings and ensure their accuracy.

Go to the desktop and double-click on the icon named "My Computer".

Step 1

Now, double click on the icon called "Dial-Up Networking".

Step 2

This action will bring up the following window to the right.

Place your mouse pointer directly on the icon that is called SoftNet. Right click on it, and select "Properties".

Step 4

This window, or a similar window, will appear once properties is selected. Make sure it is dialing the correct telephone number. (0860 007249). Once this is completed, click the OK button on the bottom of the window.
