Internet Solution's FTP S.A.
search engine and see if is not available locally. Check our site
first. Most stuff is mirrored somewhere in S.A. but the hassle with FTP
sites is they mostly don't have descriptions of the programs.

Shareware is an excellent concept. You slave over a hot computor for
months and produce something really neat and give it away on the net for
free with a little note saying "If you have enjoyed this program please
send me money". For South Africans who are not allowed to send money
overseas without major hassles with the Reserve Bank this is an annoying
message at the beginning of the program. But, people are getting smarter
now, and many programs self destruct just when you are getting used to
them. The other approach is Billy's, who can afford to give away really
good stuff which you get hooked on, but only works real good if you buy
all the other stuff to complement it.
